Saturday 27th September 11.00-12.00
Jules has spent the last 26 years working as a Nutritional Therapist; helping clients to find better health, as well as lecturing to students and healthcare practitioners. Her fasciation with the microbiome began when she started to research the link between the gut microbiome and childhood allergies. That passion and fascination has grown over the years and is now fundamental to her education and clinical work. A keen foodie, Jules is often to be found foraging in the Warwickshire countryside with her cocker spaniel, Bruno.

Talk: Transform your gut health with personalised prebiotics
When a new life is brought into this world, our protective instincts are triggered. We strive to protect our babies from outside threats - germs, dirt and illnesses, but some of the most important protection begins inside the body from the very start of life. This talk explores the infant microbiome: the vast community of beneficial bacteria that begin to colonise a baby’s body from birth. Far from being harmful, the right microbes are essential for the development of a strong immune system, healthy digestion and even emotional well-being. We’ll look at how birth method, feeding, antibiotics and modern hygiene habits can all influence this inner ecosystem. Whether you’re a parent, expecting a baby, or just curious about how early life shapes long-term health, this talk offers fresh insight into how we build health from inside out.
